Prayer
Prayer is talking to God, and when we do so, we must do so with an open and sincere heart. Be humble, and honest when you speak to God, or else he won't bother to respond. Every healthy relationship, such as a marriage, depends on a good communication line. This is no different with our relationship with God.
- Be persistent in prayer (Luke 18:1), Jesus prayed three times repeating the same thing (Matthew 26:42-44, Mark 14:32-39);
- Pray without ceasing (Colossians 4:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18);
- Do not worry about what to say to God (Romans 8:26, Hebrews 5:7);
- Pray and sing with the spirit of understanding (1 Corinthians 14:15);
- Thank God in your prayers (Philippians 4:6);
- Pray for the Saints (Ephesians 6:18, Luke 22:32);
- Pray to God in solitary (Mark 1:35). Matthew 6:5-13 (See also Luke 11:1-4) And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
The Lord's Prayer

Jesus Teaches His Disciples to Pray:
After this manner therefore pray ye:
- Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen.
The prayer of the Saint has Gods delight Proverbs 15:8, John 9:31, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Psalm 145:18, Matthew 11:25. Prayers of the Saint are kept in Heaven Revelation 5:8, Revelation 8:3-4
Prayer is setting something in motion
Psalm 145:9 The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made

God heard Daniel's prayer on the 1st day of his 21 day prayer/fasting (fasting on water and greens!!). He acted immediately but Daniel would only hear his answer on the 21st day.
Now pay attention; In response to Daniel's prayer, God sent a heavenly messenger to explain the vision.However, the messenger was delayed for those same 3 weeks, as he explains to Daniel: "But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days.
Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia" (Daniel 10:13). Later, the angel speaking to Daniel predicts further fighting: "Soon I will return to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I go, the prince of Greece will come; but first I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. (No one supports me against them except Michael, your prince)" (verses 20-21).
James 5:16 The prayer of the righteous person is powerful in what it can achieve
Do not cease praying, you stir up forces. Keep the faith so the angels are not fighting for nothing when they are sent out to help you.
These are the gifts to the faithful

Mark 12:41-44

- Healings, Miracles (Acts 2:43, 3:3-16, 5:12-16, 6:8, 8:13, 9:32-34, 9:36-42, 19:4-6)
- Blessings (1 Chronicles 4:10, 1 Kings 8:59-60, John 12:27-28)
- Answer to prayers (Matthew 7:7, James 5:16, 1 John 5:14-15)
- Stigmata (Luke 22:44, Galatians 6:17)
- Casting out demons (Luke 10:17, Acts 8:6-7, 19:11-12)

- Protected against harm (Acts 28:1-6, Daniel 6:2-28, Judges 6:11-13)
Fasting
Prayer and fasting is voluntarily going without food in order to focus on prayer with God and to purify the body. Prayer and fasting often go hand in hand, but you can pray without fasting, and fast without prayer.
Do not 'fast' like pagans, who only change the time of sleeping and eating and stuff themselves with food the minute they can. That is not fasting, that is hypocrisy.
Fasting without prayer is healthy for the body, fasting with prayer dedicated to God, is pure power. The prayer from the cleansed body reaches full effectiveness.
Fasting is to make your prayer stronger. There are a number of occasions in which prayer alone isn't strong enough.
Take a look at Jesus' words: Mark 9:28-29 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
Satan knows prayer and fasting are strong, hence he will test us on our weakest moment. Matthew 6:16, 6:18, Psalm 69:10, Matthew 5:4, Acts 13:2-3, Acts 9:9,Luke 4:2,
Remember that Jesus Christ (Matthew 4:1-11) fasted forty days, Elijah in 1 Kings 19:7-9 and so did Moses in Exodus 34:28. This alone proves the importance of fasting.

God hears prayers and acts upon it. Do not be silent!
Genesis 18:20 Then Jehovah said: "The outcry against Sodʹom and Go·morʹrah is indeed great, and their sin is very heavy. I will go down to see whether they are acting according to the outcry that has reached me. And if not, I can get to know it.
Meditation

The purpose of meditation is to learn to stem the endless flow of earthly thoughts of the mind, and learn to control our undisciplined thought patterns. Learn to synchronize our minds and bodies together for the glory of God. The untrained mind will wander into thoughts of temptation, that are delivered by Satan and his demons. Concentrate on the truths of God. By simply bringing to focus conscious thought into each moment of your day to day actions this will help to focus and calm the mind.
- Psalm 1:1-2 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
- 1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
- Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein..
Psalm 119:99. Philippians 4:8. Genesis 24:63.

Physical Training
To those who dedicate themselves to their profession, and live their beliefs. They are those who will always get the job done. It begins with the mind.
The mind is the primary focus of all training. It is absolutely imperative that you learn to control your mind, and how you think. In training and actual combat the mind is the driving force behind all that instigates you to become a better combat operator. How you process your thoughts can be a motivator or an obstacle. You must decide which element you wish to incorporate into your mentality. The untrained mind is lazy and will quit way before the body will. And it is capable of deterring you from a desired goal or action.
Conflict, pain, and confrontation are not to be feared, only respected. But irrationality, disregard for training, and impatience are to be avoided at all costs. The intensity of the training, whatever it may happen to be, should mirror your willpower. Your training must be unconventional, and always push the limits. The more extreme you train, the more your mind and body will acclimate to such situations. And it will increase the chances of surviving such experiences in conflict or combat.
The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in battle.

David Goggins is a retired Navy SEAL and is the only member of the U.S. Armed Forces to complete SEAL training (including two Hell Weeks), the U.S. Army Ranger School (where he graduated as Enlisted Honor Man) and Air Force Tactical Air Controller training. David is indisputably one of the world's best endurance athletes. He has completed over 60 endurance races, regularly placing in the top five and taken home first place several times. David says that if don't give yourself a way out, your body will figure out a way to persevere.
Before appearing on screen, Chuck Norris got his kicks in the U.S. Air Force. Literally. After enlisting in 1958, Carlos Ray Norris discovered his love for martial arts while stationed in South Korea. He has earned black belts in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and judo. After leaving the service, Chuck Norris would go on to win many martial arts championships and discover his own martial arts discipline, known as Chun Kuk Do.
Mustard Seed Faith
Jesus in Matt 17:20 "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Our brain waves can affect our physical reality, for all is energy. Just thoughts however are not enough.

Charity is giving or sharing when you need it as much as the other.
Matt 19:24 (Luke 18:25) "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."
Example from personal experience: On two occasions, money materialized in exactly the amount needed, witnessed by several people, including a pro bono lawyer. Every penny of this money was used to help others. This occurred during extremely difficult financial times, when the giver had neither food nor means to pay bills. Motivation: pure love and unwavering faith. Purpose: to demonstrate God's love through the symbolic gifts made possible by the materialized money.

Two Powerful Biblical Examples of Plant-Based Fasting
Meet Daniel, who was called a prophet in Matthew 24:15
1. Refused the royal food (Daniel 1)
Daniel and his friends remained faithful by refusing to eat the king's rich food and wine. Instead, they asked to be given only vegetables and water for ten days.
Result? God honored their choice: they appeared healthier and more nourished than those who ate from the royal table. He blessed them with wisdom, insight, and favor.
This is one of the strongest Biblical examples of a plant-based fast leading to physical and spiritual strength.
2. Interpreted dreams (Daniel 2, 4)
God gave him the ability to interpret prophetic dreams. He famously explained Nebuchadnezzar's vision of a statue — a symbol of the rise and fall of empires.
3. Survived the lions' den (Daniel 6)
Despite a decree forbidding prayer, Daniel continued to pray openly to God. He was thrown into a lions' den — but was miraculously protected.
Even wild animals did not harm him, perhaps a subtle echo of the harmony between creation and faithful obedience.
4. Received visions of the future (Daniel 7–12)
Daniel received profound prophetic visions of:
The four beasts (representing world empires)
The "Son of Man" (a Messianic figure)
The end times and resurrection
These visions form the foundation of much Christian eschatology.
5. Was a man of prayer and fasting
In Daniel 10, he fasted again - this time for 21 days, eating no rich food, no meat, no wine - continuation of his plant-based discipline.
Again, a strong Biblical example of a plant-based fast leading to physical and spiritual strength.
God heard him immediately, but an angelic battle delayed the response. The archangel Michael had to intervene.
"From the first day that you set your heart to understand... your words were heard, and I have come because of your words." (Daniel 10:12)

Use of the rosary is alright when we call upon God only.
Repeating a prayer isn't harmful either, in Matthew 26:42-44 and Mark 14:32-39 we see that Jesus Christ several times prayed the same prayer.
Praying the rosary
Praying the Roman Catholic rosary means including praying to Mary. This is blasphemy, and it doesn't matter if God is mentioned at all in the prayer when your also are praising Mary. We are not allowed to pray to angels and saints, Mary herself not to pray to her but to God.
Luke 11:27-28 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, "Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you." He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."
Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
