WHY DOES GOD ALLOW CRUELTY?
If God would have to wipe out all sinners, none would be left. None of us is without sin. So don't be haste in judging.
Na 1:3 The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
God gave humans a FREE WILL
"Die Armut wurde nicht von Gott geschaffen. Die haben wir hervorgebracht, ich und du mit unserem Egoismus."
"For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit,
and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in
conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want." ~
The Lord will help when you ask, in your endeavour, and left behind the Holy Spirit. You even have your guardian angel for support. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with us, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. The fact is..
2 Peter 3:8 with the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
Look at an ant colony. And realize how many of them there are, scattered on this planet. How small they are compared to us, humans. God is everywhere, but if you do not shout out (PRAY, MEDITATE), stand out, how the hell is he gonna notice you.
Isaiah 40:22 It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers
We chose to have a free will. With free will comes freedom, and responsibility. But he did not abandon us. We just have to call. Did you call or do you only complain?
God hears prayers and acts upon it:
Genesis 18:20 Then Jehovah said: "The outcry against Sodʹom and Go·morʹrah is indeed great, and their sin is very heavy. I will go down to see whether they are acting according to the outcry that has reached me. And if not, I can get to know it.
He did not create darkness, but light.
Well he actually did, he created day and night (Genesis 1:5) but added the light (moon, stars). If there is no darkness you cannot see the light, same if you never have obstacles in your life you can never truly appreciate when good falls upon you.
He did not create Satan, He created a beautiful angel named Lucifer, the Morningstar, who by his own will, became corrupted.
He wants us to make conscious decisions. It is our own responsibility to help those in need and battle against evil.
You think a free will is easy peasy? Ask the obese world why they do not lose weight.
It takes strength to become who you are suppose to be.
Still complaining that you do not understand God? Still want answers, eventhough you cannot move a mountain while all it takes is the faith of a mustard seed? "Let the one with understanding reckon the meaning of the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666."
Angel speaks to Esdras "Your mind has utterly failed with regard to this world, and do you think you can understand the way of the Most High? You can't even understand the things that are yours, which you have grown up with. How then can your mind contain the way of the Most High? How can a person who is already corrupted by the corrupt world understand the realm beyond corruption? He said to me, "Go, weigh for me the weight of fire, or measure for me a blast of wind, or call back for me the day that is past."

Don't Shop, Adopt!
Millions of healthy cats and dogs are killed each year but at the same time humans breed millions of new ones for people to buy.
Don't do IVF, Adopt!
If the natural door is closed, stop forcing it, there is another door wide open. An estimated 153 million children worldwide are orphans (UNICEF).
...it honestly didn't matter how we humans got to be the way we are, whether evolution or special creation was responsible. What mattered and mattered desperately was our future development. Were we going to go on destroying God's creation, fighting each other, hurting the other creatures of the His planet?"- Jane Goodall
"What shocks me the most is that people seem almost schizophrenic when you talk about the horrible conditions in the intensive companies, the cruel accumulation of sensitive creatures in small spaces - such horrible conditions obligate them to constantly administer antibiotics to them to keep alive or they would let themselves die.
I often describe the nightmare of transport - if they fall during transport, she will be picked up with a broken leg - and slaughterhouses where so many animals are not even stunned before being skinned alive or in boiling water.
Of course it hurts terribly.
When I tell this to people, they often say, "Oh please, don't talk about it, I'm too sensitive and I love animals." And I think, "What could have gone off the rails in this brain ?!" - Jane (source)

Our loneliness is a mirage
When Elisha's servant became absolutely "unglued" seeing that an enemy had surrounded the two of them he probably thought, "Time up" and "Game over." "Just get me out of here!"
But, then his master said a strange
thing to him. Elisha said, "Do not be afraid, for those who are with us
are more than those who are with them" (2 Kings 6:16).
Can you imagine what this poor servant thought of Elisha's remark? "Yah...right. Here we sit alone and surrounded by enemy forces and you want me to think there's more of 'us' than them?"
So Elisha patiently prayed for his terrified partner, "O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see. So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha" (2 Kings 6:17, ESV).
These were invisible angel warriors made temporarily visible to humans. Yes. This story should remind all of us that when we feel utterly alone and abandoned, we are not. It only "appears" that way to us. Our loneliness is a mirage.
Yes. All Small Acts Matter Too.
A mountain is composed of tiny grains of earth. The ocean is made up of tiny drops of water. Even so, life is but an endless series of little details, actions, speeches, and thoughts. Like Johnny Cash said, "being a Christian isn't for sissies. It takes a real man to live for God - a lot more man than to live for the devil."
The 103-year old man, Saint Dobri Dobrev, passed away in 2018, had spent decades traveling 25 kilometers from his village to the city of Sofia, Bulgaria, on foot every day to beg for money. Dressed in home-made clothes and leather shoes, the humble World War veteran spent his day asking for change to donate to churches and orphanages who could not pay their bills. Dobri didn't keep one cent of the money he received. He himself lived on a 80 euro pension by the government. Who are the saints? It may surprise you, read here
Giving When You Have Nothing Yourself Either
The Gospels of Mark and Luke both relay an incident involving a widow's gift to God. Jesus watched as the rich were contributing large sums of money, but then along came a widow with two small coins in her hand. What is so wonderful about this story is that Jesus shows justice; he sees the humble widow giving all she had. A gift so much more worth than a bucket of money from a rich person who can miss it easily.
Matthew 19:24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."
When God blesses you financially, don't raise your standard of living. Raise your standard of GIVING! - pastor Mark Batterson
By their fruit you will recognize them.. Matt 7:16
You can recognize a follower of Christ by its fruit; every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
Animal cruelty? Pedophilia? Hell no these are not christians. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Each and every living organism has a role to play, says Protrack. According to an atheist I spoke last week (one of the many who take every opportunity to bash christians), a human does not have to contribute anything of worth. Another atheist chipped in saying she delivered a few children so that was her contribution to the world. Flies leg eggs/give birth too, and even a fly has a function in our world; flies are insects that play an important role in agriculture, in the food chain and in pollinating flowers. Do not be a mooch..
All knowing God failed?
Another atheist favorite: "if your God is so all knowing, he could have known how evil people can be, so he failed in his creations". God created people OUT OF LOVE. He did not create brainless beings. He gave you the opportunity to make your own decisions, wrong or right.
He knew a lot of us would fuck up, just like a mother knows before giving birth her child will fuck up too. Even by knowing her child will make mistakes too, she still gives birth out of love and guides and hopes for the best. That is called love.
If an atheist has no God who says do not kill, then why are the pedophiles, rapists and animal abusers still around? I know how I would spend my time if I thought I had no Father and my forefather was a monkey.
The March of Progress, 'monkey to man' illustration properly called The Road to Homo Sapiens, is hardly accurate. We are living in 2020 now, not 1920. The ape and human 'Y' chromosomes "are remarkably divergent in structure" (Nature 463, 536-539, 28 January 2010)
Another hoax is God being all forgiving. If that was the case, there would not be a hell described in the bible. The general abuse of the quote in Luke 23:34 is sickening. Perpetrators know exactly what they are doing.
Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people.
Things are not always what they seem
Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy man. The wealthy man did not think much of the two angels of light. He thought they were two useless vagabonds and refused to let them stay in one of his many guestrooms. Instead the two angels were given a small space in the cold and damp basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied: " Things are not always what they seem."
The next night the two angels arrived at the house of a very poor farmer and his wife. The poor couple immediately recognised the two strangers and were more than happy to welcome them into their home. They shared the little food they had and let the angels sleep in their own bed, where they could have a good night's rest. When the sun came up the next morning the two angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field.
The younger angel was shocked. He turned to the older angel and asked him bitterly: " How could you have let this happen? The first man had everything but gave us nothing, yet you helped him. This couple had nothing but gave us everything and yet you let their cow die."The next night the two angels arrived at the house of a very poor farmer and his wife. "Things are not always what they seem," the old angel replied calmly. "In the basement of the wealthy man's house a treasure of pure gold and diamonds is hidden in that hole in the wall. Since the man was so obsessed with greed and so unwilling towards us, I sealed the wall so he will never find the hidden treasure. Then last night as we slept in the farmer's bed, the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead. That old sickly beast was the cause of their poverty anyway and very soon now they will find a new and healthy cow." " Just remember", the old angel said to his young companion,
"Things are not always what they seem."
A word of encouragement
Jeremiah the prophet lived in the final days of the crumbling nation of Judah. He was, appropriately, the last prophet that God sent to preach to the southern kingdom, which comprised the tribes of Judah and Benjamin. God had repeatedly warned Israel to stop their idolatrous behavior, but they would not listen, so He tore the 12 tribes asunder, sending the 10 northern tribes into captivity at the hands of the Assyrians. Then God sent Jeremiah to give Judah the last warning before He cast them out of the land, decimating the nation and sending them into captivity in the pagan kingdom of Babylon. Jeremiah, a faithful, God-fearing man, was called to tell Judah that, because of their unrepentant sin, their God had turned against them and was now prepared to remove them from the land at the hands of a pagan king.
Jeremiah begged the people to listen but they did not, no matter how hard he tried. There was no
human comfort for him and his friends had turned their backs on him.
The adulterous people had become so hardened by the numbing effects of sin that they no longer believed God, nor did they fear Him.
Jeremiah preached for 40 years, and not once did he see any real success in changing or softening the hearts and minds of his stubborn, idolatrous people. The other prophets of Israel had witnessed some successes, at least for a little while, but not Jeremiah. He was speaking to a brick wall; however, his words were not wasted. They were pearls being cast before swine, in a sense, and they were convicting every person who heard them and refused to heed the warning.
Jeremiah tried to make the people understand their problem was a lack of belief, trust, and faith in God, along with an absence of fear that caused them to take Him for granted. It is easy to be lulled into a false sense of security, especially when the focus is not on God. The nation of Israel, just like many nations today, had stopped putting God first and had replaced Him with false gods, those that would not make them feel guilty or convict them of sin. God had delivered His people from bondage in Egypt, had performed miracles before them, and had even parted the waters of the sea for them. In spite of all these displays of God's power, they returned to the false practices they had learned in Egypt, even making vows to the false "queen of heaven," along with performing the other rites and rituals that were part of the Egyptian culture and religion.
God finally turned them over to their idolatry, saying, "Go ahead, then; do what you promised! Keep your vows!" (Jeremiah 44:25).
What we learn from the life of Jeremiah is the comfort of knowing that, just like every believer of God can experience rejection, depression, and discouragement in their walk with the Lord. This is a normal part of growing spiritually, because our sinful nature fights against our new nature, that which is born of the Spirit of God, according to Galatians 5:17: "For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want." But, just as Jeremiah found, we can know that the faithfulness of our God is infinite; even when we are unfaithful to Him, He remains steadfast (2 Timothy 2:13).
Jeremiah was given the task of delivering an unpopular, convicting message to Judah, one that caused him great mental anguish, as well as making him despised in the eyes of his people. God says that His truth sounds like "foolishness" to those who are lost, but to believers it is the very words of life (1 Corinthians 1:18). He also says that the time will come when people will not tolerate the truth (2 Timothy 4:3-4). Those in Judah in Jeremiah's day did not want to hear what he had to say, and his constant warning of judgment annoyed them. This is true of the world today, as believers who are following God's instructions are warning the lost and dying world of impending judgment (Revelation 3:10). Even though most are not listening, we must persevere in proclaiming truth in order to rescue some from the terrible judgment that will inevitably come.

(source) 1979, crime rates in New York were spiking. People were angry, frustrated with an impotent police force, the drugs, the indiscriminate muggings. That year, a few of them decided to take matters into their own hands. Led by the 23-year-old night manager of a store in the Bronx, the Guardian Angels began patrolling the city as unarmed crime stoppers. New Yorkers cheered when a volunteer army of tough young men in red berets began riding the trains with them, patrolling the city's underground every night of the week, beating up muggers and holding them for cops.
