~ Marriage, a holy union between two people who love and respect each other ~

Do you know why the marriage ring is placed at the fourth finger from the thumb of your left hand? Because its the only finger that has a vein which is directly connected to our heart.

The husband

A good husband does not look at outward appearance, doesn’t slander, see 1 Samuel 16:7, Psalm 15:2-5.

The wife

Gracious, honourable, virtuous, decent, modest, faithful in all things, has an incorruptible heart, is energetic, a hard worker, creative, wise, kind, humble, careful, strong, temperate, trustworthy and has a noble character (Proverbs 11:16, 12:4, 1 Timothy 3:11, Proverbs 19:13, Proverbs 31:10-31). A good wife does not slander, gossip, isn’t vain, quarrelsome, ill-tempered or shameful, see Proverbs 19:13, 21:9, 21:19.

On raising children

Our Brothers and Sisters in Christ

Mark 3:31-35 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him. And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee. And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
